Ngozi is a native of Arochukwu in Abia State, South eastern Nigeria. She had her up-bringing in Lagos. Her father, a Biafran soldier, died during the Nigeria Civil War.

Paul Anglican School, Idi Oro and Maryland Comprehensive High School, Ikeja, and eventually concluded her high school at East Rosary High School for her primary and secondary school certificates respectively.
