Mishaal bin Majid was born in Riyadh in 1957.^[2] His family moved to Jeddah in 1971.^[3] His father is Majid bin Abdulaziz, a son of King Abdulaziz and a full-brother of Prince Sattam.^[4] The mother of Prince Mishaal is Nouf bint Abdallah Al Fahd Al Muhanna.^[5]
