Pieter Cornelis Mondriaan (Dutch:[ˈpitərkɔrˈneːlɪsˈmɔndrijaːn]; 7 March – 1 February ), known after as Piet Mondrian (, , Dutch:[pitˈmɔndrijɑn]), was a Dutch painter and art theoretician who is regarded as one of the greatest artists of the 20th century.
